A tale of two transfer windows – while Arsene has dithered, to say the least, Klopp has signed players that could take Liverpool to the next level. Plagued by injuries, Arsenal go into the game without a striker, and with a centre back pairing consisting of our 4th and 5th choice players.

Liverpool will most likely line up as they did last season – a dynamic 4-2-3-1 with an added importance on pressing high and suffocating the opposition. However, Klopp is flexible, and is able to adapt based on the game. If Arsenal carry on their favoured possession game, Liverpool are likely to sit deeper and stay solid before countering, a la Leicester.
Last season the formation relied on hard working attacking mdfielders such as Adam Lallana, but it will be interesting to see if new boys Wijnaldum and Mane can carry out the same job. If anything, they’re even better players on the counter.
One more thing to consider is that Liverpool are likely to line up with an attacking midfielder on the left – leaving space for Moreno to overlap and exploit. However, this could also allow Oxlade-Chamberlain or Alexis Sanchez on Arsenal’s right win to have some joy. This could also mean that Arsene Wenger plays Elneny instead of Cazorla to counter the central overload.
Arsene Wenger could counter Klopp with a pacy front 3 – Klavan and Lovren aren’t the quickest, and playing someone like Walcott up front could pin Liverpool back completely.

The danger man for Liverpool is Roberto Firmino – likely to play up front in Sturridge’s absence, he scored two goals against Arsenal in January and will cause problems to a pairing of Chambers and Holding.
