Before Euro 2016, Arsenal signed Granit Xhaka – a combative midfielder with an eye for a pass.
He played well in the tournament, picking up two ‘Man of the Match’ awards in the first two matches of the group stage, before being eliminated by Poland.
Many Arsenal fans are optimistic that Xhaka will provide the solidity that the team has always craved in midfield since the days of ‘The Invincibles’.
