Scrap to begin for Arsenal super talent as competition heats up

Arsenal youngster, Daniel Crowley looks set to be the next talent at the centre of an international tug of war, with both England and the Republic of Ireland hoping to secure his services for the long-term future.

England recently lost the opportunity to have Alex Iwobi represent them after the 19-year-old chose to feature at senior level for Nigeria – despite having played for the Three Lions at youth levels.

According to the Irish Independent, a similar situation is to occur for Crowley, with the 18-year-old midfielder having featured for both nations at youth level.

Martin O’Neill, while unlikely to take the teenager to Euro 2016 this summer, could pick the playmaker for their pre-tournament friendlies against the Netherlands and Belarus next month.

Crowley has yet to make any real indication as to which country he wants to represent in the future, but with a reputation that has grown and glistened since making the move from Aston Villa to north London, neither of the European nation’s will want to miss out on such a promising talent.
