Following Arsenal’s shambolic 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace last weekend, the team have been left in limbo.
They still very much need to secure Champions League football for next season but with the title almost certainly out of their reach now, it seems as though the Gunners have run out of both steam and incentive.
Given the massive disappointments witnessed this season and indeed, over the last decade, it comes as no surprise that thousands of seats are set to be left empty when Wenger’s men take on the Baggies.
However, this more than anything should act as the final wake-up call for the players.
Sure their title bid is all but over, but if the fans no longer want to turn up and watch, what is the point in them playing at all? They must do everything that they can to recapture some of the glamour of earlier in the season to swat aside West Brom and move one step closer to securing European football next season.
Yet, how exactly can they do this?
