With such an impressive batch of youngsters coming through the ranks, it is going to be interesting to see how many of the our loanees return to the club in the summer.
Having spent the first half of the season on loan at Barnsley, Daniel Crowley will reportedly be given a chance with the first-team next season. The young midfielder impressed while on loan, and has been a regular member for Arsenal’s under-21s since his return.
If this is true, this should serve as an added incentive to the players out on loan. Although not all will likely return to the club, there will definitely be some chances over the pre-season.
Players like Chuba Akpom, and Gedion Zelalem, will likely feature during the summer, although the former has not had the greatest loan spell, he could still provide much-needed depth to Arsenal’s striker position.
