Arsenal and Liverpool are monitoring the progress of Charlton Athletic midfielder Regan Charles-Cook, according to the South London Press.
The north London side were the former employers of the 19-year-old but released him at the end of his contract before offering him a professional one in 2013.

Charles-Cook hasn’t played much for the Championship side this season but has been an impressive part of the club’s academy set-up and featured on a couple of occasions for the first-team.
The Arsenal academy product was watched during a few under-21 games for Charlton by scouts from both the Gunners as well as Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.
Despite the fact they have kept a keen eye on the midfielder, he may be unlikely to leave the club soon with him having been signed to a long-term contract by Charlton.

Jose Riga’s side also have Arsenal loanee Yaya Sanogo on the books at the moment and famously had Francis Coquelin – with the French midfielder returning to become a key member in the first-team.
