Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could fast track Daniel Crowley into the first-team next season after being impressed by the attacking midfielder.
The 18-year-old spent the early part of the season on loan at Barnsley but was brought back to the Premier League side to join in with the under-21s for Wenger and his team to monitor.

Since doing so, the England youth star has had a fantastic impact and scored a stunning solo goal against Newcastle United under-21s last week.
According to the Mail Online, Wenger has been so impressed that he wants to bring Crowley straight into the first-team to challenge the likes of Mesut Ozil, Alex Iwobi and Alexis Sanchez for a place in the side.

Wenger, having signed a number of British players to long term contracts a number of years ago has decided that they have not reached the level they were alleged to, with the likes of Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain the two most disappointing of the contingent. Jack Wilshere has been rife with injury problems while Carl Jenkinson has Hector Bellerin to contend with for a place in the side and Nacho Monreal is well ahead of Kieran Gibbs, despite his recent poor form.

The only player who has arguably reached his peak is Aaron Ramsey, although his inconsistent form has prompted criticism.
