Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has told Sky Sports Italia that he has informed both the north London side and Roma about what he wants to do with his future.
The Poland international moved to the Italian giants at the beginning of the season to have first-team football, after Arsenal brought in ex-Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.
Szczesny, who previously claimed that he wants to have a long-term future at the Emirates Stadium, admitted that he has stated his intentions about his future.

I spoke with both clubs [Arsenal and Roma], but I can’t say what I told them.
Everyone knows what my intentions are. [Luciano] Spalletti gave us consistency and stability in defence, and this has been crucial to our push for the Champions League.

The goalkeeper has impressed during his spell at Roma and is part of a title charge that could see Roma lift the Scudetto. After a number of repeat incidents both on and off the pitch, it’s believed that Szczesny eventually lost the confidence of manager Arsene Wenger – leading to him being dropped in place for David Ospina, who is now playing second string football behind Premier League legend Cech.
