Arsenal are close to completing the transfer of Nigerian under-17 striker Samuel Chukwueze, according to an exclusive report from All Nigerian Soccer.
It was reported that the deal was close to breaking down as the strikers club Diamond Academy, wanted Arsenal to pay part of the fee up-front before they would allow him to move. However, the north London side wanted to wait until he was 18 to pay out the full sum.
All Nigeria Soccer are now reporting that the deal is close to completion after the issue seems to have been resolved.

Arsenal want to pay Chukwueze’s transfer fee when he is 18, Diamond felt it was too far for them. But they should agree.
The Gunners were willing to pay £3m for Chukwueze and his teammate, Kelechi Nwakali, who has just agreed to a five-year contract with Arsenal already.
Chukwueze and Nwakali were both part of the Nigerian squad which won the under-17 World Cup last summer and are both now looking set to play with each other again at the Emirates.
