Rangers manager Mark Warburton has confirmed that midfielder Gedion Zelalem will return to parent club Arsenal, while Tottenham’s on loan starlet Dominic Ball will also leave the Glasgow based side.
The American has been hugely impressive since making the move to Scotland but has, at times, found game time hard to come by. Nevertheless, the 19-year-old has received plaudits from Warburton, who earlier in the season admitted he would like to keep Zelalem at the club.

Despite his wants, Arsene Wenger himself has reportedly claimed that he wants Zelalem to be a part of his plans next season, with the likes of Mathieu Flamini, Tomas Rosicky and Mikel Arteta all expected to depart the club when their contracts come to an end this summer.
Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ, Warburton confirmed that both Ball and Zelalem would be returning to their parent clubs this summer.

Two talented young players.
They will go back to their clubs. They are Tottenham and Arsenal players respectively. Obviously we chat to the clubs about the situation with players but they are loan players that have done a fantastic job for us.
I hope they enjoyed the experience and they’ll go back to their clubs, I hope, better people and better players.

Zelalem will look to move straight into the first-team picture after already impressing with the under-18s and under-21s before making the move to Scotland to gain valuable competitive experience.
