Arsenal defender Krystian Bielik has vented his frustration after the under-18’s were knocked out of the FA Youth Cup semi-final by Manchester City in the second leg at the Emirates Stadium.
The young Gunners were beaten at the Etihad Stadium in the first leg by two goals to one and went into the game knowing they would have to overturn the deficit in order to have a fighting chance at getting to the final.

It started off well for the home side with Chris Willock striking inside five minutes after a fantastic run and curled effort into the bottom corner. A double from the visitors put them back ahead going into the break however and despite substitute Donyell Malen’s second half header, Marc Bola’s sending off perhaps cost the under-18’s their chance of getting into the final.

Despite a number of good individual performances – including that of Bielik’s at the heart of the defence, the young Pole admitted that he thought his side were the better of the two, via Instagram.
