Arsenal got one back on Watford after the Hornets knocked the Gunners out the FA Cup the last time the north London side played at home, after beating them 4-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday afternoon, tightening the race on both Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur at the top of the table.
Alexis Sanchez was back on the scoreboard, as the Chilean fired in the first of the four, before Alex Iwobi recorded his second goal for the club just a game after scoring his first against Everton at Goodison Park.
Hector Bellerin’s first time effort was deflected off the unfortunate Ben Watson over the Watford ‘keeper just minutes into the second half to make it 3-0, and substitute Theo Walcott netted the fourth in the 90th minute after good work from Joel Campbell on the left, sealing Arsenal’s victory.
What can we learn from the important three points the Gunners managed to take from the game?
