This weekend marks the end of the international break which has been beneficial for the Gunners as it provided more than enough time for the weary players to rest and recover from the intense period through which they recently played.
Obviously, being knocked out of both the FA Cup and the UEFA Champions League in the same month will not have done much to boost Arsenal’s confidence but their 2-0 victory over Everton who were in form at the time will undoubtedly have aided in boosting the belief in the squad.
Arsene Wenger’s men sit in third, adrift of teams both above and below them. Their title dreams hang in the balance and so they must make sure to win all of their remaining games to give them the best possible opportunity to claim their first title in over a decade.
They face Watford, the very team that knocked them out of the FA Cup, and so with the loss still fresh in all of the player’s minds, they should hopefully go out with a point to prove – especially with what is left of their pride at stake! Yet how exactly can they overcome Watford?
