Arsenal winger and former West Bromwich Albion loanee Serge Gnabry is set to finish the current season with the north London side, having failed to secure a loan move away before the closure of the deadline.

The talented winger was expected to go back out on loan and was close to securing a January transfer window Deadline Day move to either Charlton Athletic or Brighton and Hove Albion, although moves to both clubs broke down.
A deal had to be secured for the German to move away prior to the 24th March, meaning the 20-year-old will now remain with the under-21’s, while training regularly with the first-team.

Gnabry made his comeback for the under-21’s in their 1-0 loss to Aston Villa, with the only goal of the game coming from now on loan at Wycombe Wanderers centre forward Jerell Sellars.
It’s likely that the German will either move on a short loan next season as he bids to make the step up into the first-team picture, with plenty of competition for places in the side.
