The Arsenal squad trained at London Colney on Tuesday afternoon ahead of their flight to Barcelona, where they are set to take on the defending European champions at the Camp Nou.
Arsenal go into the second leg in an improbable situation, 2-0 down from the first fixture between the two sides thanks to a Lionel Messi second half brace, and look likely to crash out of the competition at the earliest possible knockout stage once again.
Despite the impending defeat to Luis Enrique’s side, the squad trained ahead of their game against Barcelona on Wednesday evening, with the team set to fly out to the Spanish city on Tuesday.
The likes of Mikel Arteta, Laurent Koscielny, Olivier Giroud and Francis Coquelin were all involved, as well as a host of youngsters who could make the trip and other stars involved in the side.
Although the likes of Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez, Danny Welbeck and Nacho Monreal were not pictured, there is little reason to assume they will not make the matchday squad, with Arsene Wenger often opting to rest players from training the day before a big game.
