England international Carl Jenkinson has officially returned to Arsenal, after his loan spell at West Ham United was cut short.
The 23-year-old was forced to leave the east London side early because of a season-ending injury, where his knee ligaments were damaged in a tackle against Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero.

The Arsenal website confirmed the return of Jenkinson by putting him back in the ‘first team squad’ section, while teammate and gym partner Oxlade-Chamberlain also confirmed the player’s return with an image published welcoming him back to the club.

Jenkinson was spending his second loan spell with West Ham, having impressed in his first stint with the club.
