Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin is convinced that Arsene Wenger’s side already have sufficient quality in the squad and that there is no need to make any additions to the team in the January transfer window.
Despite the club’s current injury crisis which leaves midfield duo Francis Coquelin and Tomas Rosicky facing lengthy spells on the sidelines, in an interview with IBTimes UK, the Spaniard defended his manager’s decision to make just one signing throughout the summer transfer window.
There is a lot of quality in the team and I do not think we need any new players.
However, the French coach has since revealed that he would do something if he finds the correct solution.

Bellerin also continued to say that any new signings in January would be ‘welcomed’ to the club.
If someone new comes he will be welcomed but I think we have a very strong squad, with good replacements for every position. The players just have to think about the coming games and nothing else.
Strong rumours have surfaced in recent weeks linking the north London club with a move for Celta Vigo’s versatile forward Nolito, who scored 13 goals in La Liga last season. The Daily Mirror claimed that Wenger sent scouts to compile a detailed report on Bellerin’s compatriot – and the 20-year-old believes that Nolito is an excellent talent.

It is obvious that he [Nolito] is an exceptional player, with a lot of quality but we, the players, are only thinking about the coming games.
I think he is a very good player. It is clear. He is doing really well with his team and with the national team but [his signing] is not a thing for the players.
