Arsenal are ready to make a move for Inter striker Mauro Icardi in January, according to reports.
After failing to make an impression in the Serie A this season, Icardi has been heavily linked with a move away from Inter, with the Gunners and other Premier League clubs reportedly showing an interest in the striker.
Icardi scored 27 goals last season for Inter but so far fans are unhappy as he has not been able to continue from last season’s form.

Since joining Inter in 2013, Icardi has scored 35 goals in 69 appearances for Roberto Mancini’s side. He has recently been appointed captain of the club but that role will be cut short if he continues his poor form, or ultimately leaves the side.
Arsene Wenger and Arsenal are set to be weighing up an offer for Icardi to try and lure him to the Premier League. They will face competition however with Chelsea and Liverpool also interested.
The reports also claim that Arsenal could offer between 30 and 40 million euros, which is a lot of money for a 22-year old. It will be interesting to see what happens in the New Year.
