Reported Arsenal target Andriy Yarmolenko has signed a new deal at Dynamo Kiev, but has admitted that he might still leave the club in the summer, as reported by talkSPORT.
The Ukranian forward was heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer, although any talks could now be scuppered as a larger fee will be required due to both the new deal and clubs like Barcelona and Chelsea apparently being interested in signing him, although the Gunners have been known to make big money moves in the recent past.
Yarmolenko’s contract with Kiev was set to expire in June, meaning he could have begun talking to club’s in January with a view to leaving for free in the summer.

However, by signing a new deal that runs until 2020, his value is protected and his current club will need to be suitably compensated if another side want to sign him.
Speaking to the official Dynamo Kiev website, Yarmolenko admitted that he would like to move to one of Europe’s elite leagues, but wanted to ensure Kiev got a big fee for him when he leaves.
I still want to [test myself in the best leagues].
I know that if Dynamo get really worthy offers, we’ll find an option that satisfies everyone. I want the club to get good compensation for me. I could have left for free in a while, but that would have been wrong.
I am 100% a Dynamo player. Our team is like my second family. That’s why I keep doing my best to benefit the club.
