Arsenal legend Liam Brady is on his way back to the club after stepping down from his Academy Director position 18 months ago. Now, he is back with a job still focusing on the academy, but this time he is going into an ambassadorial role with a focus on academy player development. His replacement from his resignation a year and a half ago, Andries Jonker, will keep his job as the director, but Brady will help out and develop players.

Brady helped develop the likes of Jack Wilshere, Kieran Gibbs, and Ashley Cole when he directed the academy and now that he is back he and Jonker will aim to build up players in the ilk of Jeff Reine-Adelaide and Julio Pleguezuelo into first team players in the near future. Brady, a former Arsenal midfielder himself, is familiar with the club for having played and worked there for so long.
He is a great addition to help along young talent and hopefully bringing him back will see an increase in academy players moving up to the first team.
