Under-fire Arsenal goalkeeper David Ospina could push for a move away from the club in January if he is left out of the team to face German giants Bayern Munich, according to Arunava Ray of the International Business Times.
The Colombian received criticism from the fans after his performance against European minnows Olympiacos cost Arsene Wenger’s side the match in a key group fixture. Fans questioned Wenger’s intent as he dropped the experienced Petr Cech for a crucial UEFA Champions League match – after an opening gameweek loss to Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb.
Before Cech’s arrival, Ospina had become Arsenal’s first-choice goalkeeper, ahead of Wojciech Szczesny, but the former Chelsea shot-stopper has prevented the 27-year-old from continuing his run between the sticks.

Ospina is expected to be selected for the Gunners’ Capital One Cup tie away to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, but wants reassurances that he will still be given chances against Europe’s top clubs by playing against Bayern Munich.
If the ex-Nice man did decide to leave the Emirates, the Daily Mail have reported that clubs such as Besiktas, Getafe, Genoa and Palermo would all be vying for his signature. Any move would leave Arsenal short of a goalkeeper and they may be forced into recalling Szczesny from his season-long-loan at Italian side Roma.
