Arsenal forward Theo Walcott is confident that he can replicate his recent club form for England, with the first set of international fixtures taking place over the next couple of days.
The Gunners star has scored four times in his last seven for his country, as well as getting off to a good start this season for his club, with goals coming against the likes of Stoke City, Dinamo Zagreb, Leicester City, and Olympiacos already this season, while his fantastic performance against Manchester United helped his side on their way to an impressive 3-0 win at the Emirates Stadium.
Walcott said to the media that he is willing to play wherever selected for his nation but believes that most people would relish the chance to see him play up front.

I’ll play anywhere for England.
Everyone would like to see me up front, but if it’s on the right or the left, I can play in any of those positions.
I’m excited to be away with England, I feel good. And when players feel good it’s a great opportunity to give them a chance.
Having missed England’s previous World Cup campaign in Brazil, Walcott says that he has mentally moved on and is ready to feature heavily for his country in the future.

Injuries are always going to be frustrating but you have to take the positives out of it. I think I’ve come back a better and stronger player.
I was tested mentally as well during this injury and not many players would have been able to cope with what I dealt with.
I’m ready, I want to take off now, it is where I want to be. The next stage is to bring my Arsenal form into England.
England face Estonia at Wembley on Friday night before traveling to Lithuania, to close out the European Championship qualifying stages on Monday night.
