Arsene Wenger threatened to walk out of his pre-match news conference on Friday morning after Jose Mourinho’s name was mentioned.
The Gunners boss seemed riled by a question surrounding Mourinho’s comments on him, which suggested he was the only Premier League manager ‘not under pressure’.
Arsene hit back, however, calling the criticism of him and his team selection – notably the Ospina/Cech debate – “depressing” and “boring”.

In an uncharacteristic manner afterwards, Wenger let off some steam towards the media – especially when asked if Cech would indeed play on Sunday against Manchester United.
Stop that story or we stop the press conference. Do not come always back with that same story.
I think you lack a bit of creativity in the press at the moment and you follow a bandwagon. It’s very boring.
Wenger then went on to discuss his decision to play Ospina in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday.
You can put the goalkeeper you want in the goal. He can make a mistake and you have to accept that.
If you watched really the game and you come to the conclusion we lost because of Ospina I question your knowledge in football.
Wenger then also took a jibe at TV pundits, claiming that if one pundit says something “all behind that repeat the same thing”.
Mourinho’s claims obviously annoyed Wenger today, and the media didn’t help with their question probing, but is this a sign that Mourinho is in fact wrong?
Wenger appeared a man under some considerable pressure, with midweek’s loss certainly adding to that build up.
Arsenal head into Sunday’s game with Manchester United in good league form, however, winning three of their last four.
