Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has had a solid start for Arsenal this season and is performing currently to the level expected of him. Even though he is performing at such a high level, some people, including Arsene Wenger, may feel that he is living under the shadow of new signing Alexis Sanchez. Speaking at a news conference prior to Tuesday’s game against Olympiacos, Wenger had some pointers for the Ox, saying there are a few things he can learn from watching Alexis play.

For me it is down to the quality of the reception.
That means the area you get the ball, and that makes Alexis difficult to mark because he gets into positions where he can score.
Sanchez has three goals in seven appearances for the Gunners this season so far and based on recent performances this number will soon skyrocket to match his 16 goals in 35 appearances the previous year.
Wenger also commented on Chamberlain’s youth and potential.

He’s 22, he is in the English national team, he plays many games for Arsenal. You become a complete player at 23.
From 23 to 30 is certainly where you are at your best. He has the future in front and a bright one.
Despite signing for Arsenal many years ago and featuring for the last five years at the top level, Oxlade-Chamberlain is only just begining his long and potentially fantastic career and will be a player to watch as he rises through the ranks both for club and country.
