Arsenal are lining up a bid for Portuguese and Lorient left back Raphael Guerreiro, as speculation mounts on the future of current left-back Nacho Monreal, who has been linked with Spanish club Athletic Bilbao, according to newspaper outlet France Football.

Guerreiro has impressed over the summer with his performances for Portugal U21s in the European Championships, catching the eye of many of the top clubs, as PSG have declared their interest in him as well as Atletico and Newcastle United.
It is thought that Lorient won’t sell their talented left-back on the cheap, as they are aware of his talent and the fact that some of Europe’s top clubs have declared an interest. Lorient would likely expect around £10m for the youngster.

Although PSG have declared an interest they are currently in negotiations with Monaco for their left-back Lavyin Kurzawa, so it is likely to be a three-horse race between the Gunners, Newcastle and Atletico Madrid.
