Arsenal striker Benik Afobe has joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on a 3-and-a-half year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The striker had been on loan at MK Dons this season, and it’s fair to sat he’d impressed too, with 19 goals in just 30 appearances in Milton Keynes. Two of those goals came against Manchester United in the League Cup.
Afobe joined the Arsenal academy at the age of 8 back in 2001, and managed to score 72 goals across 3 seasons in the U16s, U17s and U18s between 2007-2010.
He joines Wolves permanently after numerous loan spells at the likes of Huddersfield, Reading, Bolton, Millwall, Sheffield Wednesday and the previously mentioned MK Dons.
