Arsenal’s 49-game unbeaten record

One of Arsenal’s most famous records belongs to the Invincibles.

Arsenal went 49 consecutive league matches unbeaten between May 2003 and October 2004, winning 36 and drawing 13.

The run included the entire undefeated 2003/04 Premier League season and eventually surpassed Nottingham Forest’s previous top-flight benchmark of 42 matches.

Manchester United ended the sequence with a 2-0 victory at Old Trafford in October 2004.
