# Arsenal transfer news: Gunners explore loan move for Real Madrid striker Endrick

Arsenal are keeping their options open regarding a January move for Real Madrid striker Endrick, as Mikel Arteta looks to strengthen his attacking options.

The Gunners have been in contact about a loan move for the Brazilian. There is also talk of a permanent move. However, Real Madrid are reluctant to let him leave and feel he has a big future ahead at the club.

Endrick has struggled to earn consistent game time at the Bernabeu.

While he is only 20 years old and has plenty of time left to make his mark at the top level, a new transfer away from Madrid could give him a more consistent role.

## **Arsenal see opportunity as Endrick searches for minutes**

Arsenal are among the clubs keeping an eye on Endrick ahead of the January transfer window, reports TEAMtalk.

The forward was loaned to Lyon for the second half of last season to get more regular game time.

However, his representatives are said to be open to looking for another move if things do not improve in Madrid.

It seems Arsenal are interested in signing Endrick on loan with a view to making the move permanent. This will give them time to see how he settles into the Premier League.

However, Real Madrid may be in a strong position. They are still loyal to the young player and would prefer to keep him at the Spanish club.

Arsenal will rely on Madrid being more willing to let him go.

## **Endrick could give Arteta another attacking option**

The reported interest from Arsenal comes as Arteta looks to strengthen his attacking options.

Endrick would provide variety to an attacking line-up which has been under pressure of late. His age and potential make a loan deal with an option to make the move permanent an attractive option.

There is also positivity from his previous stint with Lyon. He has already been on a loan move from Madrid and has demonstrated that he can make progress when getting regular game time.

Arsenal have previously signed young talents from Real Madrid.

Martin Odegaard came to north London as a young player after failing to make an impact in the first team at Madrid. He then became a key player for Arteta, taking on the role of captain.

Endrick will be hoping to follow a similar trajectory.

## **Real Madrid stance could decide January transfer**

There is no suggestion that any deal is near despite Arsenal’s interest.

Endrick remains an important part of Real Madrid’s long-term plans. His representatives are thought to be looking at other options to help his career develop.

This loan deal would provide a solution for all parties. Arsenal would have another attacker to bring in, Endrick would play more regularly and Madrid would still have an interest in his future.

It will also depend on how willing the Spanish giants are to move their stance before January.

For now, Arsenal are in contact with Endrick as they consider a move. The Brazilian’s future may soon become a topic of interest ahead of the winter transfer window.
