Arsenal have reportedly added Antonio Gomez from Braga as Mikel Arteta continues reshaping the club’s fitness, medical and rehabilitation structure.
Daily Cannon reports that Gomez has left his role as fitness coach at Braga to join Arsenal as part of the club’s wider performance-department rebuild.
The report, citing Record in Portugal, adds that Gomez will not work as a permanent employee, but will still join the support structure around the first team.

Arsenal’s physical programme has come under greater focus after a demanding title-winning season. Gomez’s arrival gives Arsenal another specialist voice at a time when recovery planning and conditioning will matter heavily. A large group of Arteta’s players remain involved at the World Cup, so the club will need careful individual programmes once they return to London Colney.
