Nathaniel Brown responds to Arsenal and Manchester City rumours
Arsenal are monitoring Nathaniel Brown in the event that Lewis-Skelly departs his boyhood club — with the Eintracht Frankfurt left-back expected to cost €65 million (£56.5 million) in the summer.
The 22-year-old is one of Germany’s finest young prospects and is having yet another promising season, registering four goals and six assists in 33 starts across all competitions.

Speaking to SportBILD via Sport Witness, Brown, who has also been targeted by Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Manchester City was asked about his links to the two English clubs.
The German acknowledged the speculation but admitted that currently, his focus lies on all things Frankfurt, saying: “Yes, you do pick up on things like that, but it doesn’t influence me. I’m concentrating on the goals that are within my control. Nothing else interests me right now.”
When questioned about potentially being valued at €65 million, he responded: “It’s a truly staggering sum. But frankly speaking, I’m not giving numbers like that, or the possibility of a transfer this summer, a second thought.”
“My focus is entirely on Eintracht and our goal of qualifying for Europe. And after that, I would really love to be part of the World Cup squad. Then, I’ll see what happens in the summer. It’s hard to make plans in football, which is why I don’t dwell on it.”
Julian Nagelsmann provided exciting Nathaniel Brown verdict
Julian Nagelsmann, who has handed Brown three caps was full praise of him in March as well.
Nagelsmann told FFH Radio: “Nene [Nathaniel] is very fast, creative, and very composed on the ball.”
“I think that Nene has delivered the most consistent performances of all Eintracht players.”
Nagelsmann added: “He does have strong competitors in the form of [Stuttgart’s] Maxi [Mittelstadt] and Raum, but we expect a lot of him and his time will come soon.”
It seems like Arsenal are well aware of Brown’s talent and if they do end up signing him, Mikel Arteta could get the chance to work with an undeniably top talent.
