In the summer of 2025, all eyes were on high-profile incomings such as Eberechi Eze and Viktor Gyokeres to emerge as true difference-makers in Arsenal’s longstanding pursuit to lift either the Premier League or the Champions League.

Eberechi Eze says Viktor Gyokeres’ work ethic inspires him
Ahead of the Gunners’ upcoming contest against Sporting, Eze was asked what he has learned since playing alongside the former Leeds United striker.
The FA Cup winner stated that Gyokeres’ work ethic on the pitch has inspired him, revealing via Hayters TV: “Yeah he’s a good guy, a very good guy. He’s a special character and a special player. He is someone that will give everything on the pitch and you can see how willing to leave everything on the pitch and to me that, it’s inspiring.”
“And that’s the type of people you want to be around.”
Eze added: “When you see him working, it makes you want to work and of course, he is a killer when it comes to finishing. Massive help to the team, he’s someone who is a leader and we trust him, that’s it.”
