Arsenal have been handed a potential boost to their chances of securing a future transfer deal for reported summer target, Mykhaylo Mudryk.
Speaking to journalist, Ben Jacobs, who relayed the comments on his official Twitter page, Mudryk admitted that he would find it hard to turn down a potential transfer offer from the north London club in the upcoming January transfer window.
In 30 senior appearances for his current club, Shakhtar Donetsk, the winger has scored three goals and delivered 12 assists.
Last season saw the 21-year-old score two goals and deliver seven assists in 11 league appearances, highlighting his clear attacking prowess.
The Ukrainian even supplied four assists in one league game that saw Shakhtar thrash PFK Lviv 6-1, which shows how much of a dominant attacking figure he can be.
Recently, Mudryk announced himself on the European stage by scoring one goal and providing two assists in Shakhtar’s 4-1 win over RB Leipzig in the Champions League.
This further highlights how much of an exciting young attacking talent he is and backs up why the official Shakhtar Twitter account labelled him as “unstoppable”.
Now that the player has admitted he would find it difficult to say no to Arsenal if they were to make an offer to sign him in the upcoming January transfer window, this should be a big boost for Arteta if he wants to have the winger in his squad.
Taking all of that into account, we feel that once the winter transfer window opens for business, Arsenal should definitely make an approach to sign Mudryk, as the attacking talent he has shown over recent months has suggested that he could be a very good signing for them, especially as they only have Gabriel Martinelli as their main predominant left-winger.
Also, the prospect of playing with his national teammate, Oleksandr Zinchenko, who he has played with on four occasions for Ukraine, would surely be an added bonus for him in addition to playing for a big club like Arsenal in the Premier League.
