Football Fans Praise Bukayo Saka After Impressive England Display

Many football fans were gushing over the personal performance of youngster Bukayo Saka for England as he excelled against Ireland in Thursday’s 3-0 win for the Three Lions.

The 19-year-old was rewarded for his commendable displays as a left-sided wing-back for the Gunners and England with a man of the match award in recognition of his fine work.

Playing for the full 90 minutes, the wing-back frequently made attacking runs to increase offensive pressure and support his attack-orientated teammates. This notable aspect of his game culminated in drawing a penalty for the Three Lions which was coolly slotted home by Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

Despite a number of substitutions during the friendly, Saka securing a full 90 minutes under his belt is indicative of Southgate’s faith and belief in the youngster’s ability.

This form is positive news for Arsenal fans too; Arteta cannot simply ignore such a fine display, with Saka able to carry over his good international form to club level as the Gunners look to return to winning ways.

Despite his young age, Saka is quickly establishing himself as a future gem of English football. He has been capped twice before his 20th birthday, whilst he has already surpassed 50 Arsenal appearances, with five goals and 13 assists in his fledgling career.

Plenty of football fans on Twitter were quick to herald the teenager after he excelled for England last night:
