As per a report in TEAMtalk, a host of Premier League clubs are interested in £12m rated Arsenal defender Calum Chambers.

West Ham United, Newcastle United, Leeds United, and Fulham have all registered their interest in signing the 25-year-old this summer.

The Gunners may be looking to cash in on Chambers as they look to raise additional funds towards Mikel Arteta’s remaining transfer targets.

Having now seemingly chosen to retain Rob Holding after almost parting ways with him earlier in the summer, Chambers’ position is now in jeopardy.

A versatile operator who can play in numerous positions including right-back, centre-back, and midfield, Chambers is an appealing prospect to many top-flight clubs and has not been short of suitors.

Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds are thought to be at the most advanced stage with the three times England capped defender, although the Yorkshire club now faces competition to complete the deal.

Chambers has been an impressive servant at the Emirates since arriving from Southampton in 2014, making over 100 appearances in all competitions for the Gunners.

However, he was loaned out for consecutive seasons, including a season-long loan Fulham, one of the cubs who are interested in signing him once more.
