Despite the imminent arrival of Dani Ceballos on a second loan deal, Arsenal are still interested in signing Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey and Lyon’s Houssem Aouar, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
Ceballos impressed during the second half of the season and Ornstein reports that he will soon be announced as an Arsenal player for the next campaign, but his arrival will not prevent The Gunners from making more deals, although they may need to be funded by player sales.
Partey has been linked with Arsenal for a number of months but as it stands, no deal has been agreed between the Gunners and Atleti, whilst Aouar is for sale at Lyon, but no club has met their asking price yet.

With Hector Bellerin, Lucas Torreria, Rob Holding, Calum Chambers and a few others being linked with moves away from the Emirates, Mikel Arteta could be afforded the opportunity to make a few more additions and it would be hard to find any fans who don’t want either Partey or Aouar at their club.
Both players would add genuine Champions League-level quality to a squad that, for too long, has been carrying players of a Europa League standard.
