Sokratis Papastathopoulos made just 19 appearances for Arsenal last season in the Premier League and it is looking like he will not make any more for the club as Napoli have agreed a fee to take him away from the Emirates.
The fee which has been agreed between the two clubs is reportedly just a mere £4 million with the player eager to move to Naples. It is thought that the transfer could be wrapped up within the next week due to Sokratis pushing for the move to happen as soon as possible, so he is able to join up with the Napoli squad before the new season kicks off.

After being beaten to the signing of Gabriel Magalhaes by Arsenal, Napoli set their sights on the veteran Greek defender to add experience to their backline and a fee has now been accepted.
This could be the first deal of an expected ‘clear out’ from Arsenal this summer, with the funds raised from the deals being vital to ensure that the Gunners can complete other transfers before the deadline in early October.
