Arsenal transfer target Odsonne Edouard is set for sit down talks over his future with Celtic, according to a report in the Daily Star.
The Gunners are said to be keen on the Scottish champions’ French striker, who has proven himself as a goalscorer in his three years at Celtic Park.
The 22-year-old still has two years left on his current deal with Neil Lennon’s side but following the Hoops’ disappointing Champions League exit on Wednesday, talks have surfaced about the immediate future of the striker.
Edouard, who remains Celtic’s record signing, arriving for £9m from PSG in 2018. Last season’s Scottish Premiership top goalscorer is now set for crunch talks with Celtic bosses about his future, with Arsenal waiting in the wings.
The players’ agent Lasana Koita told Record Sport:
Odsonne is happy at Celtic and enjoys life in Scotland. He is disappointed with the result on Wednesday especially as he was injured and could not play. I think the goal was certainly to qualify for the Champions League. That is football, We don’t know what will happen. For now, he is with Celtic. We don’t discuss with any other team for now.
Not exactly a come and get me plea, but obvious disappointment that his client won’t be participating in the Champions League this term.

Despite being well-stocked in the striking department at the Emirates, albeit Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang still hasn’t put pen to paper on his new deal, Edouard would present an affordable young striker who is proven to score goals.
