Premier League newcomers Leeds United have entered talks with Arsenal as they want to sign defender Calum Chambers, according to TEAMtalk.
The 25-year-old looks set to depart the Emirates Stadium after six years with the Gunners. It is not known the details of the transfer although there is believed to have previously been a £12m valuation placed on his head.
The Gunners have made it clear that they will be looking to sell Chambers on a permanent basis, rather than sending him on another short-term loan.
Marcelo Bielsa has answered the call and it looks like the Leeds boss is willing to commit to the defender as he prepares his squad for a top-flight return.

Arsenal have bolstered their defensive options this summer, securing the permanent transfer of Pablo Mari and are also on the verge of clinching a deal to bring central-defender Gabriel from Lille so Chambers does not appear to be part of Mikel Arteta’s first-team plans.
Whilst clearly a capable operator at Premier League level, Chambers has struggled for consistent from during his time in north London and a change of scenery could revitalise his once burgeoning career.
Having made just 14 Premier League appearances last season, it seems the time has come to part ways for Chambers who signed for the Gunners from Southampton for a deal worth around £16 million.
