Juventus make enquiry for Alexandre Lacazette

It has so far been a busy transfer window in terms of players joining Arsenal, but it looks like the club could be on the verge of seeing some significant outgoings, including striker Alexandre Lacazette.

Juventus have been increasing their interest throughout the past week, with newly appointed manager Andrea Pirlo looking to bolster the squad as he hopes to challenge in the later rounds of the Champions League.

One player that Pirlo would seemingly like join his side is Alexandre Lacazette. The French striker joined Arsenal for £53 million back in 2017 but hasn’t really hit the form that Arsenal fans would have hoped for.

Juventus have recently enquired about the 29-year-old, this news comes just days after the Italian champions released Gonzalo Higuain, meaning they are now in need of another striker.

Juventus are also showing interest in Wolves forward Raul Jiminez and it is thought that they will not sign both, meaning there is a high chance Arsenal will be able to keep Lacazette, but it is thought the club is open to offloading him to help fund other deals, such as Thomas Partey and Houssem Aouar.

Any sale of Lacazette could potentially see top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang move to his natural striker position, instead of playing out on the left, which many Arsenal fans will be happy about.

However, it could be a big risk for the Gunners to let the striker leave as the France international showed some great form towards the end of the season, which played a fundamental part in the FA Cup success.
