At long last, Arsenal have managed to seal the deal with Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes with him set to be announced as a Gunner in the next 24 hours.
The Brazilian’s future club had been in doubt over the past few weeks but Arsenal have managed to fend off the likes of Napoli, Manchester United and PSG to lure their man to the Emirates.
The fee for the defender is thought to be around £30million with add ons included, and the contract will be over five years, according to multiple reports.
Gabriel has already thought to have completed his medical and all that’s needed to be done is for him to put pen to paper in London, which is all set to happen at some point on Monday.

This news should leave Arsenal fans ecstatic as there has been a big need for a centre back for several years. The Gunners have been lacking a defender who is confident with a ball at their feet and now, at long last, they have got what they needed as the 22-year-old is a confident passer of the ball as well as a commanding centre back.
All in all, this looks to be a good addition for Mikel Arteta as he looks to try and push for a place in the Champions League in the very near future.
