A number of Arsenal fans have reacted to the latest update on Philippe Coutinho’s situation heading into the summer transfer window.
According to the Evening Standard, Barcelona will consider bids of around £70m for Coutinho, despite it meaning a huge loss on what they paid for him.
Barcelona signed Coutinho from Liverpool in January 2018 for a fee of roughly £130m. Now, the Spanish giants are ready to accept a fee almost half as much just over two years later.
Tottenham, Manchester United and Arsenal are all said to be interested in signing the Brazil international this summer, with Barcelona now naming their price for the forward.
Coutinho has struggled at Barcelona, scoring five league goals in 34 appearances last season, along with two assists. He then joined Bayern Munich on loan last summer and has picked up his form slightly, with eight goals and six assists in 22 Bundesliga games.
These Arsenal fans reacted to the report with mixed opinions.
