Arsenal fans are keen to see the club sign World Cup winner Fekir

Arsenal are interested in reigniting their interest in Real Betis playmaker Nabil Fekir, according to Star Sport, and several Gunners fans are pleased to see the club pursue the Frenchman.

The Gunners are reportedly considering alternatives to Dani Ceballos this summer after Real Madrid quoted the club £36 million to make their loan agreement permanent, and Fekir has come back onto their radar.

The Frenchman came close to joining Liverpool in 2018 only for a move to collapse at the final hurdle, and since then he has excelled in La Liga since joining Real Betis from Lyon.

Arsenal have lacked a creative edge in the Premier League this season, with playmaker Mesut Ozil only having been directly involved in three goals in the league, and Fekir could give the Gunners an extra creative edge.

Taking to Twitter, a number of Arsenal fans were pleased to see the club eye up the 26-year-old France international.
