Bayern Munich will allow midfielder Corentin Tolisso to leave the Allianz Arena this summer, according to SportBild, and Arsenal should absolutely consider making a move.
The France international has only started seven times in the Bundesliga this season, having endured a turbulent time in Bavaria since joining from Lyon in 2017.
Now SportBild claim that he could made available in the summer, which should alert Arsenal to his situation, with Mikel Arteta on the lookout for midfield reinforcements this summer.
While there are no recent links to London, the France international had previously expressed that Arsenal were a dream club of his, naming them alongside Barcelona and Real Madrid when interest in his services began to heat up while with Lyon in 2016.
Valued at £28.8 million by Transfermarkt, Tolisso could be a shrewd signing for the Gunners as they look to bolster their options ahead of the upcoming campaign. With Dani Ceballos set to cost £36 million if Arsenal wish to sign him this summer, while Thomas Partey could cost just south of £100 million, the Gunners could save money by bringing in the 25-year-old Bayern man instead.
Tolisso’s one key pass per game on average ranks higher than Arsenal midfield trio of Matteo Guendouzi, Granit Xhaka and Lucas Torreira, while his passing accuracy in the Bundesliga ranks higher than every single player in Arsenal’s squad.
Should Arteta commit to signing a midfielder, he should certainly consider moving for the World Cup winner.
