Several Arsenal fans have taken to social media to react to a recent picture published on Twitter by loan star Dani Ceballos.
The 23-year old signed for the Gunners last summer on a season-long loan deal from Real Madrid, and his future is currently up in the air, with Mikel Arteta recently confirming that talks over a permanent move have not yet taken place.
Ceballos has been in and out of the team at the Emirates this season, but he has recently broken back into Arteta’s plans, starting in each of the Gunners last three Premier League games.
Real Madrid are said to have quoted Arsenal a price tag of around £36 million if they wish to land him on a permanent basis in the summer, with the Spaniard still having three years left on his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Taking to Twitter earlier this week, the midfield caused a stir by sharing a picture of himself holding up an Arsenal shirt shortly after signing his loan deal, accompanied by the caption, “good times”.
Several Gunners fans have speculated that this could be something of a goodbye message from the midfielder, leading to calls for him to return this summer.
