Several Arsenal fans have urged caution as Dani Ceballos’ price tag has been revealed ahead of the summer transfer window.
Mirror Sport claim that Real Madrid will demand around £36 million for the Spaniard, who has spent the season on loan with the Gunners, if Arsenal wish to sign him on a permanent basis in the summer.
Having fallen out of favour following a lengthy injury issue towards the backend of 2019, Ceballos has recently broken back into Arteta’s plans, leading the Gunners boss to consider a permanent purchase.
With Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey also said to be a target for the London club though, and with a £45 million fee touted for the Ghanaian, Arsenal may be forced to prioritise where they wish to spend their summer budget.
Several Arsenal fans have subsequently taken to social media to urge caution from the club, with a number of supporters feeling that while a £36 million fee is fair, that the funds could be better spent elsewhere.
