Several Arsenal fans have not reacted positively to speculation linking the club with a move for West Ham defender Issa Diop.
Mirror Sport claim that the 23-year old centre-back has emerged as a potential summer target for the Gunners, as Mikel Arteta looks to overhaul his squad ahead of his first full season as a manager.
The Frenchman had emerged as a target for Manchester United in the past, but the London outfit are now set on stealing a march on a deal for the former Toulouse defender, who has cut an impressive figure for West Ham this season.
However, the club’s interest in Diop wasn’t universally well-received among the entirety of the Arsenal fan base.
Several fans of the club took to social media following Arsenal’s reported interest to dismiss the speculation, with a number of supporters feeling that Arsenal could do better in the transfer market this summer.
