Arsenal fans are keen to see the club sign Diogo Jota

Several Arsenal fans have admitted that they would like to see the club sign Wolves forward Diogo Jota in the summer, following recent transfer speculation.

Mail Online reported recently that Mikel Arteta was considering a move for the Portuguese forward as he looks to sign wide attacking players during the close season.

The 23-year old has played a starring role for Wolves this season, with Nuno Espirito Santo’s men currently sitting in sixth place in the Premier League table.

Jota has scored 15 goals and assisted on six occasions for the Midlands side in all competitions throughout the current campaign, playing as either a wide forward or alongside Raul Jimenez in a two-pronged attack.

With the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang up in the air, Jota could be considered an option to replace the Gabon international, with Arteta looking to add more depth to his squad.

Several fans are certainly keen on that idea, with a number of supporters heading to social media to give the transfer rumour their support.
