Following a report that had claimed Arsenal hold an interest in Newcastle forward Miguel Almiron, a number of the club’s fans have reacted negatively to the transfer speculation.
According to journalist Luis Enrique Perez on Twitter, the Gunners are interested in the Paraguay international this summer, as they look to increase their offensive options.
Despite being a major hit for Atlanta United in the MLS, having scored 12 times and assisting a further 13 in 32 games during his final season for the Five Stripes, the attacker hasn’t been as successful for the Magpies.
The 26-year old has scored just twice this season for Steve Bruce’s side, with his creativity having been somewhat stifled on Tyneside, however, Arsenal are believed to be keen on bringing him to the Emirates.
Reacting to this story on social media, a number of Arsenal fans have revealed that they are not keen on seeing the Gunners sign the attacking midfielder.
