Arsenal are pushing Tottenham hard in the race to sign Chelsea winger Willian, according to Telegraph Sport, however, it seems that some Gunners fans aren’t keen on a deal.
The Brazilian is currently set to see his contract with the Blues expire at the end of the season, with Frank Lampard’s side yet to agree to terms over an extension at Stamford Bridge.
Having spent seven seasons in the Premier League with the Blues, it appears as though the primary deal-breaker for Willian is the amount of years offered in a new contract, with Willian wanting a three-year extension while Chelsea will only offer him a two-year deal.
While Bayern Munich are also said to be interested in Willian, the 31-year has declared that he wants to remain in London, giving both Spurs and the Gunners a boost in their pursuit of the winger.
However, a number of Arsenal fans aren’t keen on the transfer links, with many feeling that Willian isn’t the right man for the club target.
