A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to beg the club to make a move for RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano in the summer.
Upamecano impressed as Leipzig beat Arsenal’s fierce rivals Tottenham 3-0 in the Champions League to secure their place in the next round of Europe’s premier cup competition.
Arsenal have been linked with the central defender in the past and The Telegraph recently reported that his release clause is set to drop this summer. It was previously £72m, as Arsenal had a bid of £50m rejected last summer. His release clause this summer, however, is said to be £50m.
The report claims that a number of teams across Europe are now showing an interest in the defender, including Spurs, Real Madrid, Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
These Arsenal fans reacted to his performance against Tottenham and have urged the club to make a move for him this summer.
